SERVICES — READ HOW EASY IT IS TO USE
STEP 1: SIGNING UP (subscribing)
The subscriber, who most often is the Monitored Person or a Contact Person, provides the following information -
1. Name address and phone number(s)
2. Billing information obtained from a blank cheque for the account that will pay the monthly fee
STEP 2: CREATING A CALL PROFILE
A Call Profile contains information about the monitored person, the desired check-in call, and information about the Contact Person(s), including -
1. Name, address, phone number, and time zone of the Monitored Person
2. Name, phone number(s), email address (if available), and time zone for the Contact Person(s)
3. Days of the week and the time of day/night the check-in call is to be made.
4. Number of attempts, and time interval between attempts, for a check-in call, before a medical alert is sent.
5. Use the vacation scheduler to stop and start the service as you require.
STEP 3: SENTRY TELECARE PHONES YOU EACH DAY
1. Sentry Telecare makes the scheduled daily check-in call.
2. The Monitored Person answers the call and on prompt:
a. Presses one to indicate all is well; or
b. Presses two to request assistance from the Contact Person(s)
OR
3. If the check-in call is not answered, or if one or two is not pressed when the call is answered, then Sentry Telecare immediately sends a medical alert to the Contact Person(s).
